The Social Media CSR provides an effective customer service experience on social media channels along with monitoring these channels by utilizing strong writing and research skills. In support of branded Papa John's channels, the Social Media CSR will assist the supervisor in consulting with franchisees on their local social media presence. This position is also responsible for protecting the brand throughout all social media channels.

  • Assists in proactively monitoring and analyzing all Social Media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, You Tube, etc.)
  • Respond to a high volume of activity on social media sites with appropriate responses based on company policies
  • Occasionally perform outbound calls to follow up on customer requests
  • Effectively utilizes tools provided and analytical skill set to determine the next plan of action
  • Monitor and track negative posts and respond appropriately
  • Assess the customers concerns and provide the correct information to rectify the issue
  • Maintain sense of urgency and a poise attitude when taking action on response
  • Continue to stay actively knowledgeable of the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices
  • Escalates urgent matters of concern to Social Media Supervisor as needed



  • Basic understanding of internet website function and development
  • Ability to learn and use Social Media monitoring software
  • Basic knowledge of mobile devices and computer software, such as Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Knowledge of the restaurant (Pizza) industry preferred
  • Exceptional solid writing and research skills required
  • In-depth knowledge of applying new media tools – including blogs, social networking sites, location-based services, etc. – as a marketing communications tool.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, build and maintain relationships and work in team environment.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to respond quickly and timely required
  • Detail oriented required
  • Proficient with POS systems preferred


  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience with pizza industry preferred
  • 2 years of customer service experience required
  • Prior experience in Social Media service and interaction preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
