The Office Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support for the Quality Control Center team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Answer and screens telephone calls & e-mails in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Greet and direct QCC visitors appropriately.
  • Proactively assist in addressing customer service and delivery issues.
  • Create/update support documents for Quality Control Center.
  • Provide administrative support for the Quality Control Center team (mailing, copying, filing, faxing and other administrative duties).
  • Order and monitor office supplies.
  • Support supervisor and team with general accounting, travel arrangements, and other duties as needed.
  • Provide back-up administrative support during supervisor's absence.

Qualifications

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

  • Ability to read and/or understand written and/or verbal policy, instruction and direction in English required.
  • Proficient experience required with computer applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and e-mail applications.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle and/or PeopleSoft preferred.
  • Some knoweldge with accounting/bookkeeping and recordkeeping, preferred

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two (2) to three (3) years administrative/customer service experience.
