Responsibilities

The Barista is involved in the coffee operations for a stand alone retail unit (Starbucks) on our corporate campus. This position provides excellent customer service with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintains a clean and comfortable store environment.

This is a part-time positoin Monday, Tuesday, Friday 7am-3:30pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned Prepare the product to strict quality standards Prepares all products to established standards and recipes Prepares signs and prices product in cases Sets up and maintains stock conditions and appearances of cases Maintain proper sanitation within the store Exceed customer expectations by providing outstanding service and quality products

DESIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS High School diploma or GED preferred One (1) – Two (2) years customer service experience required Experience in working in a fast pace customer sensitive work environment preferred Experience in food handling and/or beverage preparation preferred Starbuck's certification preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to use hands repetitively, stand for prolonged periods, walk, grasp firmly/strongly and simply/lightly with hands, and use fine finger dexterity. The team member is frequently required to bend over, twist, reach above shoulder level, crouch or stoop, kneel, repetitively use feet, and use head and neck in a twisting or static motion and to look up and/or down, push and/or pull, and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Occasionally, the team member is required to sit, climb, balance, and lift and/or move over 51 pounds.
