Responsibilities

Primary role is to serve both as a sales representative and client support for Papa John's corporate and franchise restaurants, and is the primary contact and source of information for client's jobs. Provide exemplary client service while processing print and promotional orders and troubleshoot all issues as it relates to production and delivery of all PJ Standard and custom print orders and all promotional orders. Ensure a high-quality product is delivered in a timely manner. Secondary role is to work closely with the Papa John's Marketing teams (Clients) and other internal Papa John's groups to build positive relationships and to ensure National and Local promotions are executed seamlessly as well as all other PJ marketing jobs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Learns and understands the client's needs and listens for any opportunity to sell new service or product to a client. Responsible for primary communication between client and plant once order has been initiated. Maintains client relations and client satisfaction.
  • Answers a large volume of incoming phone calls from clients, and communicating in a professional manner so that the client's needs are understood.
  • Review and process Papa John's orders received via telephone, fax, email or pjcatalog.com (fulfillment website)
  • Takes job specs in complete detail from client, creates a job jacket/ticket and prepares job for plant/production planner/purchasing.
  • Complete estimates for all custom PJ work and communicate the pricing information to the client.
  • Ensures each job is produced efficiently and to the client's specifications. Provides clear direction to plant/production planners and production personnel to interpret client requirements.
  • Coordinate proof approvals with clients. Obtains accurate client deadline dates and advises production whenever copy, proofs and/or art will be delayed or when deadlines must be changed.
  • Serves the client by problem solving, gathering and transmitting information as needed and demanding the highest quality product.
  • Communicates any problems and changes to job as indicated by production planner to plant personnel, sales representative and clients.
  • Communicate with clients in a professional manner regarding job status, updates, changes, etc. Process change orders as needed.
  • Investigate client concerns, troubleshoot issues and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Consults with cilents' their budget and estimated pricing to analyze alternative methods of printing, size adjustments for cost savings and or/alternate vendor pricing or products.
  • Prioritize large volume of jobs within required deadlines.
  • Assist other Client Service Specialists and other departments when needed.
  • Help develop ideas and incentives to drive new business; identify customer issues/barrier to using PMS for their print/promotions marketing needs.
  • Research invoice questions and/or discrepancies and process credit requests as needed.
  • Attends scheduled internal and PJ sales/production/creative/marketing meetings and participates in training.
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision; take ownership of work.

Qualifications

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

  • Proficient experience with Word, Excel and Powerpoint required.
  • Experience with print management software and Peoplesoft preferred.
  • Print knowledge preferred.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two (2) to four (4) years customer service experience required, preferably in the print industry.
