Responsibilities

Develops, manages and delivers learning & development for Papa John's International corporate and franchise operations that supports learning objectives for a variety of topics including but not limited to safety, service, management, sales, maintenance, software, restaurant operations and leadership development. Contributes to the success and profitability of the company through delivery of effective and efficient learning & development content that improves staff performance and retention. Support operations leadership by developing modes of learning & development program execution that is timely and relevant to the skills, knowledge, and abilities needed for fulfillment.

  • Facilitates, administers and maintains learning & development curriculum across the organization.
  • Facilitates instructor-led training sessions, virtual training sessions, and web-based learning programs as required.
  • Partner with other functions to provide learning expertise/consulting and drive common platforms/tools for learning, development and functional onboarding.
  • Performs needs analysis and talent assessments that serve as the foundation for identifying learning & development opportunities.
  • Identifies opportunities for cultural / organizational development and makes recommendations for meeting these development needs.
  • Provides feedback for enhancement of existing course content and identifies needs not addressed by current curriculum.
  • Create, collect, organize, and maintain library of reusable assets such as pictures, video, and templates.
  • Manages the selection and recertification process of all certified trainers that are responsible for delivering any cascaded learning & development content provided by the organization.
  • Work with subject matter experts, and stakeholders to implement learning solutions.

Qualifications

DESIRED FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

  • Demonstrated application of adult learning principles
  • Strong writing skills with focused attention to details with the ability to analyze, organize, and effectively communicate complex ideas through writing
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and provide professional narration for recorded training resources
  • Advanced expertise with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of e-learning technologies and deployment strategies
  • Classroom facilitation skills
  • Strong advisor/partnering skills to work effectively with peers, subject matter experts, and other business partners
  • Ability to learn new software and web-based environments quickly
  • Ability to quickly learn subject matter
  • Resourceful in finding information and fact checking

DESIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.

Additional Information

  • Frequent travel required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a driver's license valid under the laws of the state(s) where the team member works,

proof of insurance, and satisfactory vehicle

  • Must be able to work long hours, scheduled or unscheduled, which can include nights, weekends,

and as emergencies arise

  • Ability to successfully perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant, including pizza

delivery

  • Ability to manage with no supervision
  • Exempt, salaried position
  • Employment is contingent upon satisfactory results of a background check
