SUMMARYThe Technical Data Analyst team member will be responsible for defining and enforcing data governance rules through Master Data Management (MDM) technologies for the Customer, Product, Store and other data domains. The position reports to the Director of Master Data Management and be required to maintain data management rules for MDM data flows. Monitors data quality measures and resolve data anomalies. A significant part of this role will be carrying out governance meetings, data evaluations, research and related data quality tasks to support the Marketing, Supply Chain, and Development teams in maintaining and managing Customer and Product data accuracy and integrity to support organizational goals. The successful candidate will have strong background in managing large data sets and working with MDM systems. The candidate will also have an ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. • Monitor the integrity (accuracy, thoroughness, process compliance) of assigned data domains• Work with Master Data Management tools to ensure effective use of the data by the Marketing & Supply Chain teams.• Conduct ad hoc analysis and perform evaluations of the health and validity of the core source systems • Identify and develop insight to reduce data quality issues and process gaps• Use efficient research skill to authenticate and append data• Support Marketing team by providing ongoing & ad hoc data concierge services and conducting effective research via web / subscribed research sites and present timely information as required• Execute and analyze daily health of the data reporting operations• Self-organize work and priorities to execute more effectively• Directly responsible to the stakeholders for timely delivery & completion of assigned projects• Document data dictionaries and business requirements for key workflows and process points• Recommend Process improvements & suggest alternatives for continuous enhancement of existing workflow• Keep one self constantly updated with various workflows & coordinate effectively with Analysts to get the job done• Other duties may be assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS• Bachelor's degree. Degree in Computer Science preferred• 5+ years of Data Governance experience or equivalent data related programs• Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Office tools Excel, Access with the ability and desire to advance technically• Understanding of modern data management technologies and use cases.• Exposure to master data management tools and best practices, and ETL tools. • Must possess strong communication (verbal and written), research and interpersonal skills as well as excellent time-management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to be highly productive and efficient in a team driven environment• Must have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, an investigative mentality, organizational and logic skills• Proven capability to gather, manage and synthesize large amounts of information efficiently, effectively and creatively with maniacal attention to detail
PREFERRED SKILLS• Background in report creation and spreadsheet analysis • An understanding of the restaurant business is a plus• Experience preparing logical, reference and physical diagrams• Experience with managing, monitoring and scoring data quality in a transactional environment
