Agile Coach



The Agile Coach will interact with multiple teams and leaders across the organization and geographically disperse teams to rollout Discipline Agile (DA) principles and practices. The Agile Coach will serve as subject matter expert (SME) for Scrum, Kanban and Lean methodologies. This person will interact with multiple levels of leaders and product teams, providing training and coaching related to Agile/Lean principles and will play an active role in the Agile Center of Excellence.


  • Develop, promote, and execute an organizational change strategy for Papa John's Agile transformation
  • Provide Agile mentoring and education to executives, senior management, delivery leaders and team training
  • Provide SME coaching to specific Agile roles (Scrum Masters, Product Owners).
  • Administer Agile team maturity assessments and develops coaching plans accordingly.
  • Facilitate and drive organizational change management at the Agile team and business level.



  • Minimum of 5 years of core Agile experience
  • Minimum of 4 years Agile coaching experience
  • Minimum of 2 years external enterprise/program Agile consulting experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or a combination of relevant education and experience
  • Cultivate shared understanding of customer needs and lead the team to exceed customer expectations.
  • Sense the needs of the team and support them with the tools and resources needed to be effective as well as engaged and confident team members
  • You are a genius at pragmatic problem-solving, resolving interpersonal conflicts, and overall helping groups of people communicate effectively.
  • Once you have a clear understanding of the objective, your proactive and empowering nature make others want to follow your lead.
  • You know when to step in and lead as needed, but are also comfortable stepping back and letting the team determine the best course of action.
  • Experience with the Disciplined Agile and/or any other popular Agile practices and frameworks (e.g. Lean, Kanban, eXtreme Programming).
  • Technical acumen and understanding of Agile technical practices and how they operate within an Agile organization (CI, CD, XP, TDD, BDDM, DevOps, etc.,).
  • High energy and can inspire change at all levels
