Creative Traffic Manager


The Creative Traffic Manager role will manage creative workstreams for the Papa John’s brand, including collaborating with both in-house and external agencies.  This role will oversee brief intake, manage timelines and work with all stakeholders to ensure that deadlines, project tasks and approvals are being managed appropriately across multiple stakeholders.  This position will be responsible for day-to-day tracking of creative budgets, including estimates, projects and tracking from all creative agencies. 


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned 

·       Creative Project Management for national and local promotions (including but not limited to digital, social, print, emails, packaging)   

o   Manage intake of project briefs- ensure briefs are submitted with appropriate detail, lead project briefing kickoff meetings with stakeholders if needed  

o   For internally-managed projects, work with Creative Group lead to assign work across the creative team based on schedules, timelines and fit for job needs 

o   Work with appropriate internal and external stakeholders to develop timelines and schedules for each project; track progress for each initiative against agreed upon timeline to ensure on-time delivery 

o   Work with closely with both design team and project stakeholders to ensure creative is in line with original brief and that feedback is clear and actionable  

o   Maintain project status reports and lead weekly status meetings. 

o   Act as liaison between Papa John’s marketing and external vendors that produce marketing materials 

o   Coordinate appropriate approvals for each project (legal, marketing, technical, other stakeholders as needed 

o   Work with Digital Asset Manager to ensure that creative assets are released and posted appropriately 

o   Oversee day-to-day management of creative budget, including tracking estimates vs. actuals and maintaining budget tracker spreadsheet for creative projects 

·       Development and optimization of creative processes (both internal and external) 

o   Work with marketing and design partners to assess current processes to identify areas for optimization.  Assessment includes (but is not limited to) timelines, technology tools, brief inputs, stakeholder review process, specialist inputs 

o   Evaluate current project management and asset management software determine fit with current and future team needs 

o   Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to outline optimized creative work flow that will streamline creative development process and ensure delivery of high-quality creative aligned with needs of organization 


DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE include the following.   

  • Experience and working knowledge of the application, Lytho formerly IgniteMotion project management platform
  • Must be able to balance need for process and structure while also being agile to triage quick-turn projects 
  • Able to build and manage relationships with diverse cross-functional stakeholders 
  • Ability to balance short and long-term priorities to deliver against most important needs for the organization 
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.  Able to concurrently manage a multitude of projects across multiple timelines 
  • Experience working closely with creative/design teams to deliver feedback and manage workflows 
  • Experience working with project management software to oversee creative initiatives from brief to deliverable
