Custodial Maintenance Technician



The Custodial Maintenance Team Member is responsible for maintaining basic housekeeping for the Quality Control Center. 


  • Ability to read, write and understand written and/or verbal policy, instruction and direction in English required.
  • Must be able to read and understand the safe use of cleaning chemicals and/or painting materials.
  • Must be able to safely operate cleaning equipment including floor scrubber, scissor lift, polisher and other equipment.


  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Housekeeping, custodial, sanitation experience preferred.

  • Must have flexibility to work all shifts as necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Clean restrooms, break rooms, offices, hallways and entryway.
  • Clean all areas of the plant as assigned by supervisor.
  • Perform minor facility maintenance tasks as assigned by supervisor.
  • Operate floor maintenance equipment to clean carpets and other flooring.
  • Perform rodent trap maintenance by checking dates and documenting regular checks.
  • Remove trash from all areas as scheduled and perform any basic maintenance tasks as assigned by supervisor
  • Perform sewer trap sanitation throughout the facility to ensure they meet PJFS quality standards.
  • Ensure perimeter of facility is clean and all debris is removed.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate and complete departmental records of all quality checks.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
