Director, Enterprise Insights


The Director, Enterprise Insights will Analyze sales, order, customer, media, product, labor, technology, and other trends to identify business drivers, causality, and recommendations to drive growth with a focus on key financial metrics (margin improvement, ROI, …) Additional requirements are:

  • Actively coordinate projects related to business opportunities, data modeling, analytical technology, and/or predictive analytic methodologies. 
  • Provide deep research and insight on consumer and customer-level datasets 
  • Evaluate brand perception metrics to identify factors that cause improvements and declines. 
  • Analyze competitive environment to determine trends, strategies, and tactics and work to mitigate the competitive impact. 
  • Analytic liaison between other groups within the company (including operations, marketing, technology, finance, supply chain…). 
  • Manage relationships with external partners focused on test/control analysis of prospective promotions/products, competitive media, competitive sales, and brand perception measurements.  This will include assisting in the drafting of MSAs/SOWs for existing and future relationships. 
  • Proven discipline to work with wide latitude for action or decisions on project outcomes. 
  • Demonstrated skill in partnering with both technical and cross-functional teams. 
  • Provide coaching and consultation to data team on defining business problems, scoping projects, and managing projects. 
  • Manage a substantial volume of diverse projects and ad hoc requests with excellence and precision. 
  • Manage direct reports, indirect reporting relationships, and peers to ensure quality of insights and analytics. 
  • Assist in preparation of presentations for Senior Leadership and the Papa Johns franchise system—presentations include Board of Directors, Franchise Advisory Counsel, System wide presentations. 

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, or Finance 
  • 8 + years of experience required in business analytics and research (including designing & developing analytical processes and models). 
  • Minimum of five (3) years people management experience required 
  • Retail or restaurant experience desired
