Insights Analyst - Operations

THIS IS A CORPORATE POSITION

The Insights Analyst is a key member of the Papa John’s IDS team, responsible for developing insights from data that helps evaluate current results and identify/support strategies for future growth.

This position is located in the Atlanta office and will directly support the Restaurant Operations team through the use of data gathering abilities to produce:

  • Analysis of sales, orders, ticket, margin, and labor performance/trends

  • Analysis of customer service metrics: customer satisfaction scores, delivery times, make times…

  • Sales forecasting to guide staffing of call centers and related insights to improve impact

  • Insights related to performance metrics throughout the Restaurant Operations hierarchy (corporate and franchise) as well as the regional and DMA level

  • Interactive Tableau dashboards/ad hoc analysis using custom SQL queries

  • Various ad hoc analysis related to Restaurant Operations metrics with action-oriented insights, including forecasting of results

This person will be a trusted partner to leaders within the Restaurant Operations team and must be able to understand the strategic objectives in each business area.

Key requirements of the role:

  • Proven ability to partner with business leaders to gather functional requirements and develop specifications for data analysis and forecasting.

  • Familiarity with analyzing sales, order, customer, demographic, regional, and other trends to identify business drivers, causality, and recommendations to drive business growth.

  • Ability to design and developing flexible/intuitive dashboards and business analysis that enable business leaders to assess performance and develop targeted strategic action plans.

  • Perform analysis related to business opportunities, data modeling, analytical technology, and analytic methodologies.

  • Support the organization by understanding testing methodologies, Q/A processes (including working with other groups/team members as peer review), and test case to ensure data accuracy.

  • Provide deep research and insights on consumer, customer, and store datasets.

  • Demonstrated skill in partnering with both technical and cross-functional teams, including: Restaurant Operations, Restaurant Development, Commercial/Marketing, Supply Chain, and Data/Data Science teams.

  • Develop skills necessary to present analytic findings at an executive summary level.

  • Manage diverse projects and ad hoc requests with excellence and precision.
