International Project Manager

THIS IS A CORPORATE POSITION

The International Project Manager is responsible for project management of strategic initiatives aligned to Papa John’s strategy. He/she will serve as a consultative solution partner to key stakeholders, cross-functional partners and senior business leaders and will manage project conceived at the highest level in the organization with multiple stakeholder involvement.  He/she will provide full-cycle project management from timeline creation, resource planning, tool creation, change management, project tracking, supporting processes, and providing ongoing status reports and project data analytics to bring these initiatives to life.  He/she will make a positive impact through leading and organizing broad cross-functional efforts and will use information and work closely with leaders to help achieve business goal. This role is responsible for project management for strategic initiatives aligned to PJI’s business objectives.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
  • Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
  • Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
  • Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
  • Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
  • Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project
  • Determine and define project scope and objectives
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
  • Track project costs in order to meet budget
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • International experience
  • QSR / Franchise experience

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeliness
