Manager, Agile & Financial Governance

Job Summary

The Manager, Agile & Financial Governance will be working with cutting-edge technologies across technically and geographically diverse teams.  The role will guide and optimize the efforts of the product delivery teams by ensuring Scrum, Kanban and other Agile practices are understood and enacted by the team – enabling Papa Johns to lead the industry in exploring, creating, and supporting highest-quality, "customer first" experiences in various technical channels. 

This role will also complete financial and operational analysis to support strategic plan and capital forecasts, including resource capacity. This analysis will provide accurate and timely information to assist with technical portfolio decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)

  • Develop, promote, and execute an organizational change strategy for Papa Johns Agile transformation
  • Provide SME coaching to specific Agile roles (Scrum Masters, Team Leads, Product Owners) and mentoring to senior management, delivery leaders and team
  • Administer Agile team maturity assessments and develops coaching plans accordingly.
  • Facilitate and drive organizational change management at the Agile team and business level.
  • Ensure the delivery teams are practicing the agile principles by communicating best practices, identifying areas for improvement, and monitoring the process
  • Work with cross-functional teams and other internal/external partners to eliminate roadblocks to the team(s) achieving their sprint goals
  • Proactively participate in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and best practices for the SDLC
  • Bring transparency to the organization about development and grow trust
  • Monitor health of the collective team, checking that commitments, pace and quality are on track then help the team understand how to inspect and adapt where needed
  • Reviews and verifies accuracy of client invoices and supporting documentation
  • Participate in the monthly forecast process through communication of actuals, variances, key operating metrics, highlights, and financial performance
  • Build/develop and maintain various models supporting various key performance indicators and data points.
