Manager, Talent Acquisition - Logistics

We are hiring a Manager, Talent Acquisition to lead recruiting for our transportation and logistics business, known internally as “Trans Papa Logistics” (TPL). TPL is the transportation company of Papa Johns and is responsible for keeping our 5,500+ stores around the world stocked with fresh product year-round.

The Manager, Talent Acquisition informs and drives execution of our overarching recruiting strategy, runs an RPO engagement, and manages a recruiting team. The TA Manager is responsible for planning, process execution and innovation, reporting, and operational leadership that will positively influence the caliber and experience of our new hires and the TPL business. 

In this role you’ll partner with business leaders and our HR teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies and hiring plans, monitor and report KPIs and SLAs, and educate on shared processes and accountabilities while identifying opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of the recruiting model. 


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•    Curate and execute strategies and processes that deliver top talent to the business and provide best-in-class experiences for candidates and hiring managers.
•    Manage and ensure adherence to the recruiting and selection processes and policies in partnership with the recruiting team, TA leadership, HRBPs, and hiring managers. Identify opportunities for improvement and partner with key stakeholders to create sustainable changes.
•    Balance the recruiting workload across the team to optimize performance.
•    Serve as the primary point of escalation for team members and partner with recruiting leadership to address issues.
•    Lead the day-to-day work of a recruiting team that may include FTEs and contractors; in-office, hybrid, and remote arrangements; and who may work or support hiring across time zones. 
•    Ensure recruiting teams “live in the system” with timely updates to job and candidate records to ensure robust analytics
•    Provide coaching, training, and guidance to ensure team members are successful in their work. 
•    Deliver reporting to TA leadership, HRBPs, and business partners about key metrics, team performance, and job and candidate statuses 
•    Manage recruiting vendor contracts and relationships including vendor management system, applicant tracking system and Internet job sites.   
 

Education, Experience and Certifications

•    5 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition manager, recruiter, Human Resources, Sales or related roles
•    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
•    Experience with talent/employer branding, social media, sourcing, strategic partnerships
•    Experience recruiting in the transportation and logistics space
•    Proficiency with Workday (or other complex ATS/HCMS/HRIS) and Excel
