The Recruiter - Restaurant Operations supports the Restaurant Operations Team in the Charlotte NC market by reviewing, screening and scheduling the most qualified hourly candidates for our Corporate stores in the Charlotte market. This individual works within the guidelines of company and department policies, practices, standards, budget and federal, state and local laws.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Partner with hiring managers to assist in the recruitment & selection of select exempt/non exempt positions across the organization.
  • Provide support to restaurant ops by identifying areas within each market where additional recruiting resources are needed.
  • Research markets with low utilization and provide recommendations to boost applicant pool.
  • Post identified positions using the most applicable, efficient and cost-effective methods and in accordance with affirmative action requirements.
  • Review resumes and conduct telephone interviews with qualified external candidates to determine job-applicable skills (based on job description and manager’s needs); screen internal applicants. Provide professional assessment of final candidates to assist with the determination of the best fit for the open position.
  • Provide timely updates to all candidates, HRBP/HRD and hiring manager. Deliver high quality, best-in-class experience to all candidates, HRBPs/HRDs and hiring managers.
  • Facilitate various administrative recruiting processes including coordination of new hire requests and approvals, posting positions, conducting reference checks, generating offer letters, communicating with all candidates following interviews and generating various recruiting-related reports.
  • Assist in the research, development and coordination of recruiting programs and collateral to attract, select and retain candidates; recommend new approaches and procedures to improve department’s effectiveness and service and maintain compliance with federal, state and local regulations concerning employment.
