Senior Billing Clerk



Responsible for all aspects of the billing processes including interfaces, uploads and manual entry of invoices/credit memos for all Papa John’s International and subsidiaries.  Position is responsible for the upload billing process into the ERP system for Papa John’s International, Preferred Marketing Solutions, Production Fund, Royalty, eCommerce, Market Advertising, Training, and the IS billings which include POS, Hotspares, Software Enhancement, Toolkit Connectivity, and Helpdesk as well as ad hoc requests from various departments.  Position is also responsible for the accurate, timely processing and reconcilement of the automated billing interfaces.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Handle all invoicing processes from various sources both systematic and manual.  Must determine the validity of the request, build the appropriate file for uploading if necessary, and ensure the accuracy of the invoice in the ERP system to the request.
  • Reconcile all billing interfaces to the source system to ensure accuracy and completion. 
  • Analyze, review, and identify variances or errors within the billing system interface program in a timely and accurate manner., and process A/R invoices and debit and credit memos for all Papa John’s International and subsidiaries. Research and resolve questions or discrepancies identified during the analysis/review process on a daily basis.
  • Pull ACH returns file from the bank website and process in PeopleSoft AR.  Reconcile the resulting process using queries to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Close out invoicing monthly and send updates
  • Perform weekly processes and prepare, analyze, and distribute reports.
  • Perform and maintain special projects as assigned.
  • Investigate questions from and provide answers to internal and external customers.
