Job Summary

The Director of Revenue Management works closely with Operations, Finance, and Commercial teams to create price architecture and longer-term revenue management strategy. This position uses sales forecasting, demand planning, competitive intelligence and analytical skills to lead strategic pricing architecture. The objective of the position is to drive revenue growth and margin expansion with strategic intent.

Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)

  • Collaborates with Marketing, Menu, Finance and Operations teams to create price architecture and longer-term revenue management strategy
  • Works towards an Optimal Revenue Optimization strategy with focus on Sales, Margin and Value Perception
  • Evaluate and set appropriate Regular and Discounted prices
  • Collaborate with other teams to recommend appropriate suite of Deals/Offers
  • Utilize following workstreams to design the Optimal Revenue Management Strategy:
    • Understanding of impact of Price on Transactions and Sales
    • Understanding of Inflationary pressures, and role in margin management
    • Role of Regular and Promoted price in demand generation and margin
    • Competitive landscape including product/deal offerings and price gaps
    • Interaction of Price with Marketing, Loyalty and Menu strategy
  • Lead analytic work including price elasticity studies, trend analyses, market analyses etc.
  • Lead market testing as it relates to Price and Promotion
  • Participate and provide input into the sales forecasting process
  • Actively work with Corporate and Franchise operators to evaluate price gap at market level, performance and recommend strategies at market level
  • Work with Data Science and Insights teams to understand customer trends, value perception, and incorporate learnings towards optimizing Revenue Management
  • Understand and assess data needs and work with technology teams to enhance data infrastructure for better revenue strategy
