Job Summary
The Senior Financial Systems Engineer is responsible for maintaining and supporting financial systems at Papa Johns while also participating in system implementations. A qualified individual exhibits leadership abilities along with technical programming expertise. Additionally, this role requires an in-depth knowledge of financial systems to streamline operations and support organizational objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)
Lead production support and maintenance activities including bug fixes, problem resolution, root cause analysis, and upgrades.
Develop, modify, and troubleshoot financial system software and applications.
Collaborate with finance, IT, and other departments to understand system requirements and deliver solutions.
Design and implement integrations between financial systems and other platforms.
Analyze and optimize system performance to enhance user experience.
Create documentation, user guides, and training materials for system users.
Ensure the security, reliability, and compliance of financial systems.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance, including bug fixes and upgrades.
Education, Experience & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
8+ years of experience implementing Enterprise Financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday).
Skills
Proficiency in SQL and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL)
Experience with various integration patterns (e.g., APIs, SFTP, prebuilt integrations)
Experience with multidimensional data cubes (e.g., Oracle Essbase)
Analytical Skills: Utilizes data to generate insights for operational excellence.
Communication Skills: Clearly and effectively communicates across the organization
Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Applies logic to solve problems by creating effective and innovative solutions.
