Manager, Food and Packaging Procurement

Job Summary

Papa Johns is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead the development and execution of strategic sourcing strategies across our food and packaging categories. This role will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement initiatives support business objectives, drive cost efficiencies, and maintain high standards of quality and sustainability.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies that align with organizational goals to optimize annual spend and strengthen supplier relationships.

• Conduct market analysis to identify trends and assess supplier capabilities that drive a competitive advantage.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers driving value in negotiating contracts to secure favorable pricing and service levels.

• Evaluate new suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost, and sustainability.

• Prepare and execute RFPs using should cost modeling delivering sustained savings for our operators.

• Lead cross-functional teams in supplier selection, including RFI/RFP development and cost reduction efforts.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs and align sourcing strategies accordingly.

• Proactively identify and resolve supply chain issues while seeking opportunities for innovation and efficiency.

• Review supplier performance data to drive continuous improvement and identify areas for enhancement.
