Job Summary
The Manager Technical Program Management is responsible to lead the large-scale implementation and integration of our next-generation Restaurant Technology Platform, which encompasses Point of Sale (POS), Inventory, Labor Management, Makeline Optimization, and Driver Dispatch solutions. This role drives architecture, API integration, and system interoperability across a complex multi-vendor ecosystem with 100+ integrations spanning internal systems, franchisee tools, and third-party partners.

Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)
Technical Leadership & Architecture

  • Lead technical delivery across POS, Inventory, Labor, Makeline, and Dispatch systems ensuring scalability, reliability, and interoperability.

  • Govern and drive API strategy, architecture standards, and data integration frameworks across 100+ internal and external systems.

  • Collaborate with engineering and vendor teams to establish secure, real-time data exchange between restaurant systems, digital channels, and enterprise platforms.

  • Oversee technical validation, configuration, and integration testing during pilot and rollout phases.

  • Propel creation of architectural blueprints, interface specifications, and system flow documentation for all integrations.

Program Management & Execution

  • Manage full lifecycle delivery of the restaurant technology platform, from discovery through pilot, scale, and stabilization.

  • Oversee cross-functional program plans, schedules, and dependencies across multiple vendors and internal technology teams.

  • Maintain a unified program roadmap and technical dependency tracker across POS, middleware, and third-party services.

  • Drive governance through structured weekly technical syncs, risk reviews, and architecture steering committees.

  • Ensure program milestones are met on time and within budget while maintaining a high degree of technical quality and performance.

Vendor & Integration Oversight

  • Partner with vendors (POS, middleware, labor, dispatch, inventory) to define API specifications, SLAs, and performance benchmarks.

  • Validate vendor architectures for alignment with enterprise security, scalability, and integration standards.

  • Manage and prioritize integration backlog across 100+ interfaces, including POS, delivery aggregators, ERP, financial systems, and digital channels.

  • Coordinate joint technical workshops and design sessions to align on implementation details and deployment readiness.

  • Lead incident management and RCA for technical issues arising from integrations or data inconsistencies.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner with enterprise architecture, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps teams to ensure modern, resilient, and secure system designs.

  • Act as the bridge between business owners and technical teams — translating business requirements into executable technical workstreams.

  • Mentor project engineers, integration leads, and analysts in best practices for enterprise-scale integrations and rollout delivery.

  • Drive alignment across global IT, Operations, and vendor partners to ensure unified deployment and support strategy.

  • Present program updates, technical status, and key decisions to executive leadership and steering committees.
