Job Summary
The eCommerce and Digital Specialist is responsible for digital and eCommerce platforms across web and mobile apps for Canada, including integrated loyalty. The role is responsible for keeping all front-end eCommerce content and data accurate and up to date, working closely with the Restaurant Technology team on POS and in-store technology. The role supports end-to-end testing for new products and features, manage analytics and front-end reporting, optimize SEO across both technical and on-page elements, and collaborate with the CRM team on API integrations with third-party eCRM systems. The role also works directly with eCommerce vendors to support development roadmaps and continuously improve our digital channels to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
In addition, the role leads the creation and maintenance of technical standards and guidelines for eCommerce and digital, including loyalty. The expertise of the role supports franchisees, strengthen cross-functional collaboration and help shape secure, scalable and customer-first digital solutions for the future.
Duties & Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)
• Manage eCommerce system for Canada (web and app), supporting accurate front-end setup, testing, and rollout of new products and promotions.
• Manage analytics and front-end reporting, including GA4, Tag Manager and Big Query integration.
• Manage SEO, working with vendors to ensure correct technical and on-page configurations.
• Manage content in line with marketing campaigns and product launches (including SEO).
• Support vendor development and roadmaps in line with Papa Johns requirements and customer experience optimisations.
• Support 3rd party CRM integrations to ensure data accuracy.
• Provide training, support, and documentation for franchisees and restaurant teams on eCommerce and digital systems and loyalty management.
• Evaluate and implement innovations to improve customer engagements and conversion.
