Shift Leader

The shift leader at Papa John’s is a supervisor and works in all areas of the restaurant. It is a role that ensures the highest quality products are sent to customers with the best service to ensure restaurant success.

Responsibilities

·         Product quality overseer: making sure all products are created following company standards and being sent out to customers with the best quality of service. This is operations management, including the execution of all company policies, procedures, programs and systems.

·         Correctly follow guidelines, techniques, and expectations for each station in the restaurant as well as training, coaching and encouraging all employees to do the same. This includes pizza topping, customer service, delivery, and oven tending.

• Ability and willingness to work at all stations in the store while consistently contributing to achieving Papa John’s product goals.
• Respond to customer needs, expectations, and complaints appropriately. Follow all policies and procedures as laid out in the company handbook.
• Commits to meeting the needs and expectations of the restaurant’s customers, minimizes customer complaints and responds appropriately to customer needs. Follows all policies and procedures as outlined in our TM handbook including, but not limited to, image (including car topper for delivery drivers), attendance, safety and security.
• Exemplifies and exhibits the Core Values, maintains a positive attitude, works well with others and is flexible and adaptable to change.
• Ensures adequate shift coverage for restaurant. Provides immediate feedback and corrects problems when identified. Maintains product quality, customer service, and performance responsibilities (such as MCE readiness, food/labor costs, restaurant cleanliness, etc.) within acceptable standards, follows all policies and procedures related to shift management.
• Contribute to profit goals by ensuring they stay within company guidelines and target goals by accurately utilizing the FOCUS System. Execute cash management duties. Assist in the management of adequate inventory levels using the company’s systems and guidelines to minimize loss.

o   Rare meetings require attendance

²  Train employees at different stations within the store

²  Master all stations in the store
