Job Summary

Financial Analyst will play a key role in shaping growth and capital investment decisions across the restaurant portfolio. Partnering closely with Development, Operations, and Finance leadership, this role will evaluate where and how the business invests – from new restaurants and market expansion to remodels, relocations, acquisitions, and portfolio optimization.

This is a highly analytical and collaborative role for someone who enjoys connecting financial performance, operational data, and investment strategy. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, comfortable working with large and complex data sets, and able to turn analysis into clear recommendations that influence business decisions.

  • Evaluate investment opportunities using ROI, NPV, IRR, payback, sensitivity analysis, and scenario modeling to help leadership prioritize capital and growth opportunities.
  • Analyze restaurant performance across regions, markets, trade areas, restaurant formats, building types, investment levels, and other attributes to identify the characteristics and trends associated with stronger financial returns.
  • Turn historical performance into benchmarks and forward-looking insights that strengthen assumptions, challenge conventional thinking, and improve future investment decisions.
  • Evaluate market and portfolio performance to identify growth opportunities, underpenetrated markets, portfolio risks, and opportunities to improve returns across the restaurant base.
  • Measure the performance of new restaurants, remodels, relocations, and other investments against original expectations, identifying key drivers of over- and under-performance and incorporating those learnings into future business cases.
  • Support M&A and portfolio optimization initiatives through due diligence, valuation, scenario modeling, and performance analysis.
  • Develop dashboards, scorecards, and analytical tools that give leadership greater visibility into restaurant performance, investment returns, and strategic initiatives.
  • Support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), quarterly forecasting, long-range planning, and related financial analysis.
  • Partner across Development, Operations, Accounting, and Strategy to frame business questions, synthesize findings, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to leadership.
